If you're questioning whether or not your costume portrays a cultural stereotype, you're better off not wearing it at all. Really, you could use any mug, but I wanted to be as close to the meme as possible, so I chose a clear one. To pull then entire look together, I grabbed the mug used in this post. Impact is the meme font that you’re looking for! You could easily just print it on a sheet of card stock. ![]() I then used my Cricut, to cut out the text large enough to fit on the board. Use the adjustable sticky strips from this post, to stick them to the shirt. The wider ones are about 4″ tall and the thin ones are around 5″ tall. I did 3 wider shorter triangles, and 4 thinner longer ones. Using a rotary cutter, I cut triangles out of the sheet of felt. I went to Walmart for a sheet of green felt and a mini poster board. It’s a little darker than I would have liked, but that’s the price of paradise. After a bit of scrolling, I finally found a top that wanted a tropical vacation. ![]() And surprise, surprise, many companies don’t ship here. With as popular as memes have been lately (and my pettiness), I knew this was the costume for me! #TeaLizardīecause green isn’t a color readily found in my closet, I had to go out and get a green top. It’s been a good while since I’ve dressed up for Halloween.Īs I was scrolling through Pinterest a few weeks back, I came across this fabulous costume idea! The pin was one of those annoying ones that doesn’t lead anywhere, but it seemed easy enough to recreate. Plus, having to get costumes for the kiddos. Spend a mortgage payment on candy, only to eat half of it before Halloween. As a mom, Halloween hasn’t been my favorite. ![]()
